The easiest way to get to the airport is to get to the Ladoshkaya subway station (метро Ладожская, in Russian) and then take a taxi to Rzhevka airport (аэропорт Ржевка). It is important to know that in Russia, taxi drivers always try and charge foreigners 10-20 times more than they do Russians. A ride from the above-mentioned subway station should not cost more than 150 rubles ($5), so don’t pay any more than that! Another option is to flag down a private car. This is a widely accepted practice in Russia as it is cheaper than taking a regular taxi and is generally very safe. As there may be very few official taxis around the Ladoshkaya station, you could just walk to the road (about 100 meters from the station) and stick out your arm. Within a few minutes, a car will undoubtedly stop, the only real problem perhaps being the language barrier.
